We are proud to announce that Gemeente Haarlem, Pride Photo and Nieuwe Vide have come together to bring the series Queer Radiance, In Common Light of Pride Photo to Haarlem! It can be seen at Stationsplein until September 30th.
The selected photographers for the 2026–2027 exhibition are Mauricio Holc en Hector Villalobos, Mari Sarai, Danilo Zocatelli Cesco, Svenja Wiese, Yu Hao, André Ramos Woodard, George Ramos, Sophie Chalk, Adam Han Chun Lin, Lena Mucha, Nana Akua Agyeibea Asare Boye, Sitara Celina Rajh, Chantal Regnault en Marton Monus.
The selected projects cover a wide range of subjects and geographical contexts, including intimate portraits of transgender families and communities, explorations of identity and the meaning of masculinity, and personal reflections on memory and trauma. Several works delve into historical archives and collective memories, telling stories that have long been ignored or suppressed. Other projects focus more on contemporary narratives of resilience and resistance in regions where LGBTQ+ rights remain under pressure.
Together, the selected artists present a compelling and urgent perspective on queer life today, one that is both personal and political. The work underscores the importance of visibility, representation, and preserving queer history for future generations.
With this outdoor exhibition, Pride Photo continues its mission to make queer stories visible in the public realm, thereby making them accessible to a broad audience and fostering dialogue among diverse communities.

September 25 – Stationsplein Pride Photo gathering – from 4:00 PM – Anne Mul, Director-Curator of Nieuwe Vide, will give a brief introduction to the Pride Photo exhibition.
