01/02.02.2025 – Opening & Gluren bij de Buren

Weekend Program at Nieuwe Vide: February 1 and 2

Saturday, February 1: Opening of the Exhibition “Re-Viewing Sites of Preservation”

On Saturday, February 1, at 2:00 PM, we proudly open the new exhibition “Re-Viewing Sites of Preservation.” This exhibition brings together artworks by the artist collective Notes on Hapticity, consisting of Elena Kostenko, Kees van Leeuwen, and Hannah Dawn Henderson.

The collective works from a desire to connect artistic techniques with themes from cultural theory, history, and anthropology. Their work invites reflection and offers new perspectives on how we deal with traces of the past in the present.

Artists:

  • Elena Kostenko
  • Kees van Leeuwen
  • Hannah Dawn Henderson

Sunday, February 2: Gluren bij de Buren (Peeking at the Neighbors)

On Sunday, Nieuwe Vide will take part in the living room festival Gluren bij de Buren. During this event, we will transform our space into a stage for intimate performances. The lineup includes:
