Cineclub
Nieuwe Vide’s Cineclub is a program in which a bridge is built between education and film from an artist’s perspective.

In recent years, various themes have been offered at Cineclub, such as Stories of Migration, Speculative Fiction, Tech/Cyber Feminism, Queer Diasporas and many more. Using film as the basis for discussion and development, Cineclub investigates how the chosen theme is portrayed, both on the silver screen and beyond.
The participants of Cineclub are creatives from all over the world who currently reside in the Netherlands. All participants bring their own questions and interests into the series of workshops consisting of lectures on writers, theorists and filmmakers related to the chosen theme. Each participant develops their own project, which is presented during the accompanying exhibition.
