Cineclub #2

The second iteration of Nieuwe Vide’s Cineclub is organised by curator Katayoun Arian and includes filmworkshops, public gatherings and screenings. Members of this years’ Cineclub are artists and filmmakers from Russia, Iran and Syria. Between October 2017 and February 2018 the members gather a few times a month.

The filmprogram ‘Stories of Migration’, on saturday the 13th of January, is a non-commercial public screening of five movies chosen by Masood Banozadeh, Nouf Rafea, KH Sajedeh, Bayan Jouma and Jameel Arsheed, presenting the members’ perspective on the topic of film and migration. Snacks, food and drinks will be provided. What is more, the director of ‘Dance Iranian Style’, Farshad Aria will join us for Q&A during dinner! Please join us!
