Club3xVide: GUARDIANS OF GAIA

Zhé will be showcasing an ongoing collection called; ‘Guardians of Gaia’. This collection will be accompanied by a soundtrack made to tell you a story while looking at the art. 

Guardians of Gaia consists of trees, nature and human/animal hybrids that have one sole purpose, protecting Gaia. They are imaginative beings tasked with protecting Gaia, or as more people know her, mother earth and all her beauty in nature. We humans are wasting this earth, are not fit to rule and do not deserve dominion over this planet. The almighty Gaia has created these beings to make sure of her survival, and halt the everlasting greed of humanity.

More about  Zhé van Dam

Zhé van Dam is a multidisciplinary artist who creates art for both the eyes and the ears. He graduated from the Conservatory of Haarlem in Electronic Music Production and is self-taught in painting and visual art.

Zhé has a vast garden of creativity growing inside his mind and draws endlessly from his imagination, emotions, and personal experiences to create art. His visual work is vibrant, colorful, and often dreamlike, blending surrealism, impressionism, and abstract forms into expressive and unexpected compositions. He draws inspiration from his own experiences, fantasy, emotions, and sometimes political ideas, allowing each work to become a reflection of his ever-evolving inner world.

In his music, Zhé explores and combines a wide variety of genres, always creating something that serves its purpose. Whether it is written for a screenplay, a dance floor, a theatrical setting, or as an immersive counterpart to his visual art, his music is constantly adapting to its environment and intention. Despite this diversity, everything originates from the same place: Zhé’s imagination, emotions, and endlessly curious mind.

Nieuwe Vide and Patronaat join forces to support young creators.

Starting in November 2025, Nieuwe Vide and Patronaat are launching a special collaboration. Together, they are providing space for (young) artists from Haarlem and the surrounding area to showcase their work in Patronaat’s EXPO space.

As part of this program, Nieuwe Vide will curate four exhibitions at Patronaat during the 2025/2026 season. These exhibitions will feature young and/or queer creators whose work explores themes such as nightlife, experimentation, and diversity.

The artworks—often situated at the intersection of image and sound—share a direct connection to the night and can be viewed during Patronaat’s regular opening hours, including club nights and concerts. This creates a unique cross-pollination between music, art, and the audience.
