OPEN CALL FemiZine ManiFest
Nieuwe Vide & JongFem Collective are looking for makers, collectives, activists and artists who are involved in art and activism for our #ZineFest (June 1, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Think: Zines, printed matter and activist merch.

-Also register if you have made a zine by yourself (even one zine is enough to participate!) We make a distinction between Zines and comics for sale, for exchange or for display (and to browse trough).

– Indicate whether your work is for sale, exchange or for exhibition/browsing or whether you want to do something live.

-There will also be printers available to copy your work on site.

-We do this to meet each other, to bring attention to activist Zines and comics and to exchange them with each other. We hope to inspire and motivate more people and makers to create and publish Zines themselves. Self-publishing is a way to autonomously amplify, (re)produce and distribute unheard voices, independently of publishing houses. We therefore encourage you to respond based on themes such as intersectional feminism, anti-capitalism, anarchism, queerness/queer joy or other DIY practices related to left-wing activism.

-We don’t know yet how many stalls we will have available. That’s why we ask you to indicate approximately how much space you need (participating with 1 zine is also enough!).

-If you don’t need that much space, or don’t mind sharing a stall, let us know. If you need a lot of space, please indicate this as well.

-At this event you can sell, exchange or give away items.

-If you want to donate your profit to Jong Fems, you will receive a punch-card to participate in future workshops that take place at Nieuwe Vide (@tekenorleaveit and from @jongfem collective)

-You can register by completing the Google form via link in bio.

-Registration deadline: April 16th, but register as soon as possible. 

-Participation is free*, but take your registration seriously.

*we make our stalls free because we support anti-capitalist practices
**If you are unable to attend but would like to have your Zine printed to share, that is also possible, but we cannot sell it for you.
