What is Queer Kitchen?
Queer Kitchen is a public kitchen for all colorful people in Haarlem. It’s a safe and welcoming space where queer and queer-friendly individuals can come together to enjoy a shared meal in a warm, inclusive atmosphere.

For whom?
For everyone who identifies as colorful, queer, LGBTQIA+, and their allies.

By whom?
Queer Kitchen is organized by Remy / Sky Blue, together with a supporting cook.

When & Where?
Once a month, on Wednesdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, before the Open Draw event at Nieuwe Vide.

Cost
We use a sliding scale: €5 – €10 per meal, to make it accessible for people with different budgets.

What to expect
A cozy and open dinner table with simple yet high-quality comfort food, made using mostly honest, local ingredients. The menu will vary each edition and will be announced in advance.

Why Queer Kitchen?
With the support of Nieuwe Vide and HTQ, Queer Kitchen is launching as a pilot project: a monthly safe space for queer folks to gather around good food and good company.

Haarlem Town Queers is a direct response from the community to create inclusive queer spaces and events for a growing queer community in Haarlem.
