28.09: Tubelight presentatie: Compost Heap & finissage expositie

Nieuwe Vide and Tubelight warmly invite you to the presentation of the new edition of Tubelight Magazine: #131 – Compost Heap. This edition has been put together on the occasion of Nieuwe Vide’s 30th anniversary, where overlapping themes were explored around Composting Politics by various writers, makers, and thinkers. The presentation coincides with the finissage of the exhibition pulling blood from stone by Ahmad Mallah and Rebecca Lillich // Krüger. They were interviewed by Veerle Driessen, editor of Tubelight, and will also be present.

Composting Politics is a method for social change. Good compost is crucial for fertile soil. From this idea, Stefan Cammeraat, Matthieu Reijnoudt, Tessa Bourguignon, Ischa Borger, Veerle Driessen, Benjamin Schoonenberg, Haiko Sleumer, Cecilie Fang, Jip van Steenis, and Hilde Meeus, together with the reader, reflect on what we want to let grow and how.

Time: 14:00 to 17:00
Location: Energieplein 69, Haarlem

Note: Not all spaces in our building are wheelchair accessible. The exhibition is largely accessible except for one installation (which can still be viewed without entering it), but unfortunately, the toilets are only accessible via stairs. The project space is accessible through the main entrance (with wheelchair ramp). Want to know more about accessibility at Nieuwe Vide? Visit: nieuwevide.com/toegankelijkheid/
