Teken Or Leave It: Workshop door Sir Valentijn: Introduction to Drag

Dit Lichaam van Ons (This Body of Ours) is a temporary queer collective consisting of nine young comic creators. They are currently exhibiting at @nieuwevide until September 29th. They ask the question: What does the future of comics in the Netherlands look like? They answer this question with a riotous, queer and colorful comic collection and exhibition at Nieuwe Vide full of queer joy, pulp and drag. From the end of April they also participated in DOC4, our artist in residency, and developed new work for the exhibition. The exhibition is open from Friday to Sunday from 12:00 – 17:00.

About the Teken Or Leave It workshop: Introduction to drag

Sir Valentijn takes you through the first steps of creating a drag character. If you could come up with a stage name for your alter ego, what would it be called? And what would this alter ego look like? How much glitter do you have on your face and which catwalk did your character steal their outfit from?
