PUMP UP THE END (powered by ARTCORE) – Patronaat Haarlem

Somewhere on the edge of a broken world stands a gas station. The lights are still buzzing, the bags of chips are on the shelves, the pumps are ready — but no one seems to be fueling anymore. In the distance, a city glows and everywhere are promises of a better life by ARTCORE. But don’t be fooled by their flashy lights of false promises. Because behind these ads and shiny brands lies something evil. The city is built on dreams that will never come true, and the technology of workers will never see the light of day again. This injustice cannot continue any longer.

In this installation, animation, sculpture, and drawing come together in a landscape that balances between nature, city, and technology. A world where nature fuses with industry, carrying a dystopian atmosphere where you can feel ARTCORE’s resistance rising.

The young people of ARTCORE behind this exhibition invite you to wander through this leftover world. Are you brave enough to uncover its secrets?
