We…Are Doomed (Pragmatic Propaganda)

‘We…are Doomed’ (Pragmatic Propaganda) is a cross-over project that connects political design, news cartoons, ‘spoken word’ and music. The new book full of social-political illustrations/cartoons of illustrator TRIK is also the third music album of the band The Irrational Library. To do justice to the message of ‘Pragmatic Propaganda’ the graphic works of TRIK are combined in word and image with the texts of the lead singer and poet Joshua Baumgarten, and visa versa. This is cartoon-activism ‘meets’ spokensoulpunkrock’n roll. So put the CD/record on, dive into the book and be bombarded. If you want to know where we are at this moment in the world, this is the time document that you can’t miss. Next to various on- and offline promotions, there will be a propagandatour with a variety of performances at event locations, art gallery festivals and other platforms full of art, music and performances.
